Why we invests in education
Education is a key element in the empowerment of children, and its absence closes a household’s options for a generation. Children across our communities leave the classroom for reasons that have nothing to do with ability, and once a child has been out of school for a season, returning becomes progressively harder.
Mayuge Hope Ministries meets that moment. Our sponsorship programme was created by our founder out of his own experience of hardship in upbringing, and it exists so that vulnerable children may achieve their full potential and realise their dreams.

Who the programme serves
Priority is given to needy orphans and to children from vulnerable households, including those raised by single mothers and by elderly guardians. Children are identified through our church partners, our partnering schools, and the families already known to the Ministry through our weekly work.
Selection is carried out locally, by our team know the child and the household.

What we provide to a sponsored child
Tuition support
Fees are met so that a child remains on the register through the full academic year.
Scholastic materials
Children receive the books, uniforms, and learning materials required to attend school properly.
Spiritual mentorship
Every sponsored child is known personally and discipled alongside their schooling.
Career guidance
Learners receive counselling and guidance as they approach the decisions that shape their working lives.
Advocacy
The Ministry advocates for needy and vulnerable children with schools, families, and local authorities.
Continuity to tertiary level
Our support extends from nursery through university or tertiary institution, so that a sponsorship carries a child to a qualification.
Stand behind a child through their schooling
Our vision speaks of a generation, and a generation is educated one child at a time. Those willing to carry a child through school are invited to write to us.
