Servant Leadership
Our work is directed by Christian leaders accountable to the communities we serve and to those who support this Ministry from a distance.
Mayuge Hope Ministries was founded in 2019 by two pastoral couples who answered the cry of children left orphaned or vulnerable by the COVID-19 epidemic and by poverty. They did not direct the work from a distance. They settled among the people they had come to serve, and they remain there.
Our leaders carry responsibility for the six core areas of the Ministry, for the resources entrusted to us, and for the spiritual oversight of every programme we operate

Beyond the founders
Around the founding families stands a community of teachers, church volunteers and caregivers in Mayuge who make weekly school visits, prepare meals and walk alongside the children and elders in our care.
