Volunteer with Mayuge Hope Ministry
Much of what this Ministry accomplishes each week rests in the hands of volunteers who teach, accompany, train, visit, and administer.
The Ministry receives volunteers from within Mayuge District and from further afield, including members of our partnering congregations abroad. Certain roles require particular skill, and others require only availability and commitment.
Volunteers coming from outside Uganda are ordinarily received through our mission trips programme.

Where the Ministry receives volunteers
Child discipleship
Serving in Sunday devotional class with children between the ages of three and seventeen.
School outreach
Accompanying our Friday outreaches into partnering schools, in gospel sharing, career guidance, and counselling.
Skilling instruction
Teaching a trade within our skilling programme, including tailoring, crafts, liquid soap making, and exercise books making.
Elderly visitation
Visiting elderly members of our communities and supporting their care.
Mentorship
Walking with a young person over a sustained period as a mentor.
Administration and communication
Supporting the records, reporting, and communication work of the Ministry, including remote support from outside Uganda
