Why the Ministry works inside schools
Mayuge Hope Ministries conducts weekly outreaches in partnering schools, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and offering career guidance and counselling to learners.
A school gathers the young people of a community in one place, at the age when questions of purpose, faith, and direction are settled. School ministry is one of the six core areas of Mayuge Hope Ministries, and it takes us to learners who would not otherwise be reached by our other programmes.
Our presence in schools rests on partnership. Teachers and administrators open their gates to us, and the work continues on the strength of those relationships

Gospel sharing
Weekly outreach carries the gospel of Jesus Christ to learners in their own setting
Career guidance
Learners receive guidance at the stage when decisions about their working lives are being formed.
Counselling
Counselling is offered to learners carrying difficulties that would otherwise go unattended.
Talent and skills nurturing
The Ministry works to identify and nurture talent and skills among learners.
Advocacy for school support
We lobby for development support services required by our partnering schools.
Who this programme reaches
Our school ministry partners with schools and institutions. Through them we reach learners across the age range, including the children sponsored by this Ministry and many more who are not.
The Ministry conducts school outreaches every Friday with our partnering schools. Sessions are arranged with the school and delivered by our team and volunteers.
