Get involved

There is more than one way to be useful here.

Sponsor a child, care for an elder, pray with us, come and visit, or bring your church alongside ours. Every one of these is somebody already doing it.

Serving Mayuge District since 2019.

There is a place for you here

Six ways to stand with Mayuge Hope

Whatever you have to give, time, skills, prayer or partnership, there is a place for you in this story.

Sponsor a child

Walk with one child through school and change the course of their life. You receive their name, photo and progress.

Support an elder

Help us care for the grandmothers and grandfathers who carried their families and communities before us.

Volunteer with us

Give your time and skills, from teaching and mentoring to practical help behind the scenes.

Send a prayer request

Our team in Mayuge prays over every request we receive. We would be honoured to pray with you.

Join a mission trip

Come and see Mayuge for yourself. Serve shoulder to shoulder with our staff and the families we love.

Partner with us

Churches, businesses and organisations, let us build something lasting together.

Be part of a child’s story

You do not have to change the whole world today. You can change it for one child in Mayuge, and that is where hope begins.

Before you start

The questions people ask when they are deciding where to begin.

I have very little to give. Is that still worth it?

Yes. Weekly meals scale almost directly with support, so even small regular giving becomes food within the week. Prayer costs nothing and our team asks for it constantly.

Can I help without money?

Yes. Pray with us, share the children who are waiting, or come on a mission trip and give your time. Churches also partner with us in ways that are not primarily financial.

Do you need volunteers on the ground?

Our mission trips are the structured way to serve in Mayuge. They are planned so visitors spend real time with the children and churches rather than passing through.

How do I know the work is real?

Come and see it, or read the news pages, where we report what actually happened rather than what was planned. We would rather describe this work accurately than impressively.
